Thanks for your interest in volunteering with Kaibosh Food Rescue!
Volunteers are at the heart of our work towards Zero Food Poverty, Zero Food Waste.
In the past year alone we've rescued and provided over 248 tonnes of quality surplus food to those in our community who need it most – that's more than 852,000 meals and a 232,800 tonne reduction in carbon emissions.
Across the Wellington Region, Kaibosh provides food to more than 65 community groups – including soup kitchens, food banks, drop-in centres, refuges, homeless support services, crisis centres, childcare centres, mental health support services, youth development organisations, refugee and migrant support services, marae and boarding houses. It's thanks to our team of dedicated volunteers that we're able to support these organisations in their much-needed work.
Please fill in this form if you're interested in joining our volunteer team. Even if there are no shifts available right now, we really encourage you to apply so that as soon as something becomes available we can get you involved.
Also please note that volunteers are required to lift 20kg boxes of food and commit to volunteering with Kaibosh for a minimum of three months. If this is not possible, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll see if there is some other way you can get involved.
Finally, we understand that your privacy is important to you. The personal information you provide in this form will only be used for the purposes of managing your volunteering with Kaibosh.
