2026 Business Owner Needs Assessment Survey
The mission of Broad Community Connections (BCC) is to catalyze revitalization along New Orleans’ Broad Street, to center the values of residents in decision-making, and to build community power and wealth. BCC has supported business owners and residents across the Broad Street neighborhoods since 2008 by administering small business assistance programs, leading beautifications efforts, and developing the ReFresh Project at 300 N. Broad, where Whole Foods and Liberty’s Kitchen reside.

This Business Owner Needs Assessment Survey is an effort to better understand the opportunities, challenges, and visions of business owners near Broad Street to inform BCC’s economic development strategy and to connect the community with resources to sustain and strengthen your business.

Why a survey?
This survey provides an opportunity for you to share your experiences and assistance needs as a local business owner. We would love for you to respond whether your business is officially registered with the city and state or not - we want to hear from the diverse range of businesses along this corridor.

Your answers will be anonymous and grouped so that no one person's information will be known to the public. Your full survey response will not be shared beyond BCC and its partners. We will share the findings in a report when our process is complete.

Please answer the questions to the best of your ability and give your best estimate if you don’t have an exact response. Please reach out to Shana at shana@broadcommunityconnections.org or (504) 908-9384 with any questions you have about this survey.
