Introduction

Welcome to Whisker Workshop Grooming, where your furry friends are treated like royalty. We provide one-on-one, cage-free grooming in a calm, home environment, ensuring your pet gets the personal attention they deserve.

Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures

Drop-off:

Please text or call upon arrival, and I will meet you outside. First-time visitors are encouraged to come inside for a brief tour to ease any anxiety for pets and parents.

Pick-up:

You will receive a text 15 minutes before your pet is ready. Please head over and let us know when you arrive; we will bring your pet out to you.

Service Estimates and Pricing

Initial estimates are based on the information provided and are subject to change upon physical assessment. Factors such as size, coat condition, and behavior may affect the final cost.

Payment Policy

Payment is due upon completion of services. We accept:

All balances must be paid within 10 days to avoid penalties or legal action.

Deposit Policy

A deposit is required to secure your appointment. Deposits are non refundable: This applies even in situations where Whisker Workshop Grooming must reschedue to unforeseen circumstances, such as i

Appointment and Cancellation Policy

All services are by appointment only. A 48-hour notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide notice results in forfeiting the deposit.

Handling and Behavior

Additional fees may apply for pets requiring special handling due to aggressive behavior or other issues. Please inform us of any behavioral or medical concerns before the appointment.

Late Arrival and Pickup Policy

Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be rescheduled, and a $15 late fee will apply. Please be prompt for pickups; extended stays may incur additional fees.

Matting Policy

Undisclosed matting will incur additional charges. We will remove matting as humanely as possible, but please note that de-matting can irritate the skin. Full shave-downs for matted dogs start at a minimum of $250 and may go up to $350 or more, depending on the severity of the matting and the time required to complete the grooming.

Health and Vaccination Policy

All pets must be current on vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and parvovirus. Proof of vaccination is required. Pets showing signs of illness will need to be rescheduled, and a rescheduling fee may apply.

Flea and Tick Policy

Pets must be flea and tick-free. Detection of fleas/ticks will result in an added treatment fee and immediate sanitation of the grooming area.

Emergency and Medical Attention Policy

In case of a medical emergency, we will contact you immediately. If unreachable, we will seek veterinary care at your expense. Please provide your preferred vet’s contact information.

Senior Pets and Special Needs Policy

Senior pets or those with special needs may require additional care and time. Please notify us in advance; additional fees may apply.

Behavior and Training Policy

Pets must be reasonably trained and under control. Dangerous behavior will stop the session, and the owner must pick up the pet immediately. Owners are liable for damages caused by their pets.

No-Show and Late Cancellation Policy

No-shows and cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will forfeit the deposit and may incur additional fees for rebooking.

Personal Belongings Policy

We are not responsible for lost items left on pets, such as collars, leashes, or toys. Please remove these items before the appointment.

Parking and Entry Policy

Please follow our instructions for parking and entering the premises. Do not knock or ring the doorbell during grooming sessions to maintain a calm environment.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. We use your information solely for grooming purposes and will not share it without your permission.

Pet Photography and Media Policy

We love showcasing our furry clients! By booking with us, you consent to photographs of your pet being used for promotional purposes. Please inform us if you do not wish for your pet's photos to be used.

Safety and Injury Policy

Grooming tools are sharp, and although rare, injuries may occur. We will provide first aid and inform you immediately. More serious injuries will require veterinary care at the owner's expense unless due to our negligence.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We are committed to providing the highest quality service. If you are not satisfied, please inform us within 24 hours for reasonable adjustments.

Client Responsibility and Acknowledgment

Booking an appointment indicates acceptance of these policies. Clients are responsible for reviewing all policies before scheduling services.

Liability Waiver

Clients release Whisker Workshop Grooming and its employees from liability for accidents unless due to our negligence. We are not responsible for veterinary charges that may result from grooming.
