Recognizes a student who demonstrates a strong interest in history and/or history preservation; promotes citizenship and are leaders in school or community organizations.  

Certificates will be emailed to the nominating teacher to be presented during the schools' award night.  

Names of award recipients will be published in the SCCSS newsletter and conference program.
