JCIS PD on Comprehensive Sexuality Education (Susie March)
International School of the Sacred Heart (ISSH), Tokyo
November 29-30, 2019
Who should attend?
The course is designed for pastoral leads, teachers, school nurses and school counselors who have leadership roles in CSE, Pastoral Care, Health Education and Child Protection.
Based on experience, it is highly recommended that at least two members of staff attend from participating schools.
Delivered in collaboration between Susie March Consulting and JCIS and hosted by the International School of the Sacred Heart, the workshop’s objective is to implement and enhance Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE). The two-day training course develops the core knowledge and skills needed for your school’s CSE programme.
Using a blended approach of theory, policy and practice to develop the three overarching core competencies of CSE – acquisition of knowledge, building skills, and respectful attitudes – we will explore evidence-based best practice for implementation and facilitation of effective Comprehensive Sexuality Education.
Participants from JCIS Schools:
5,000 yen for the two-day workshop
Participants from non-JCIS Schools:
15,000 yen for the two-day workshop
(Applicants from non-JCIS schools will be put on a waiting list and informed whether they will be able to participate if there is additional space.)
