The Oregon Business Education Association (OBEA) has traditionally awarded one scholarship each year to an individual who is pursuing or is already engaged in a career as a business education teacher.  

Recognizing the trend that business education classes might be taught by teachers without the traditional business teacher preparation, OBEA is expanding the requirements to include those teachers seeking additional training by taking additional professional development opportunities in the areas of personal finance, economics, accounting, and other business subjects.
