On election day, we set up mini campaign offices all over the riding. These satellite offices have different areas of the riding assigned to them (zones), and are called Zone Houses.
A zone house is somewhere that people getting out the vote in those areas can visit to get a snack or a have a break between door knocking. It is also where a Zone House Captain is assigned to over see operations in the area by monitoring voter turnout of our supporters, and facilitating volunteer activities that day.
A zone house needs to be able to host 2-3 people consistently throughout the day, with small groups coming and going at various times (this may result in ~10 people being at the your home at the same time for brief moments).
A zone house host does not need to be the same person as a zone house captain (although they can be), nor do they have to be present at home for the day. Zone house hosts need only provide space for the campaign to use for the day.
