NO CHARGE.     Note: weapons are not allowed inside the EOC.
We try to go over as many of the published questions/answers as possible PLUS give you hands-on experience -- a 74% on the multiple-choide test is required to get your license.   See local GARS Club exam schedule here:  https://gars.club/Testing.html
We encourage you to procure and plan to study the ARRL License Manual,   e.g. https://home.arrl.org/action/Store/Product-Details/productId/2002476141   A bit of reading after or before our course will GREATLY increase your score.   We will show you free online "practice test sites" that will be a great help to you.   We've been teaching this for several years!!
Contact us at docvacuumtubes@gmail.com for additional information.
There are no specific age limits.   The youngest person we know of passing the exam was NINE YEARS OLD.

Class is limited to a maximum of TWENTY participants   We will build a 2-meter external antenna as a hands-on example.   You can watch or you can participate and go home with an incredibly inexpensive and sturdy home made antenna that will give you extended range from a 2 meter handi-talkie at your home and hit repeaters more easily.   There will be a nominal charge of $8  to cover the costs of coaxial cable and supplies.
