Career Month Committee 2021-2022 - Please Complete by Tues. Oct. 5th, 2021
The Career Month Committee is responsible for everything regarding the planning and execution of PAUSD's annual Career Month Speaker Series, one of the largest and most highly attended student-run events of the school year.  This year's kick-off event will be virtual and in collaboration with Gunn & Paly, followed by a week of Career Speakers hosted in person at each site.  We look forward to having you apply for this unique opportunity to align with both schools.

A committee members responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
speaker liaison, creating promotional material, and attending weekly meetings.

Being a member of the Career Month Committee has the following time commitment:
Fall = bi-weekly meetings, and once-a-week lunch meetings Jan - March on Wednesdays
1-3 hours a week in January & February (in addition to meetings)
March - 4+ hours a week
During the week of the speaker series (March 21st) you will be expected to attend sessions to introduce speakers.   If interested, you may either earn community service hours OR enroll in the Work Experience class (meets 1x per week) in order to demonstrate your commitment via your high school transcript.

This committee is a great opportunity to develop your leadership and project management skills while working with a dynamic team.  We hope you join us!
