Thank you for your interest in our DBT Informed Skills Class. We have been teaching this as a virtual class since 2018 and are excited to start our next session!
Meeting Dates and Times:
Class is held on Wednesdays 6:00 pm -7:30 pm.
Winter 2026 Class starts February 4, 2026
All classes will be held via Zoom.
DBT can help you…
-Calm intense emotions
-Decrease risky/self-harm behaviors
-Advocate for yourself
-Strengthen and maintain important relationships
-Think before you react
DBT is grounded in the dialectic between acceptance and change. Learning the skills will help you stay present and reclaim more joy in your life. In this class, classic DBT is combined with nervous system regulation and somatic approaches to healing from chronic stress and trauma. It is a presented in a collaborative, neurodivergent friendly and engaging way.
What to Expect:
Weekly homework assignments allow additional opportunities to integrate new skills into daily life. The best part is, you can’t do DBT wrong!
During the first session, you can expect to have an overview of DBT and education on emotions in general. Each group starts with mindfulness, continues to skills and ends with practice. We try to include some time to process as well.
There are a number of payment options available depending on your income/need. A DBT Skills book is needed for the class. You can purchase it or find a pdf on the internet.
