We are delighted to help you find a doula that is right for you. Regardless of your budget, we are committed to making doula support accessible for all families in the New York/Metro area. Our doula referrals are a diverse group of folks ranging in experience and specialty, They also have advanced certifications in Lactation Counseling, Yoga instruction, massage skills for labor, and maternal/child health expertise. Expecting(nyc)’s founder Kristy Zadrozny, trains doulas for professional certification through the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA). There’s support for everyone, including volunteer and low fee doulas who are working towards their certification.

Doula rates range based on experience level and additional certifications/credentials. What is your budget range? Please check all that you are open to. *

New or student doula: Volunteer-low fee support: Ranges from free-$500. For both Labor and postpartum doula.

Some experience: ranges from $300-$800+ for labor doula and $15+ per hour for postpartum doula

Experienced: ranges from $1500-$3500+ for labor doula and $25+ per hour for postpartum doula.

Very experienced: ranges from $3400-$5500+ for labor doula and $50+ for postpartum doula.

Expecting(nyc) helps match families with doulas as a courtesy to the community. All doulas are independently employed and not affiliated with Expecting(nyc) outside of their initial training. You and your doula will work out the contract details of your service agreement. *
