Call for Presenter Proposals for The Regional Professional Day for Teaching Artists and Therapists (RPDTAT) PofA Regional Festival, Friday, Sept 11, 2020, 8:30-3:30
The Regional Professional Day for The Teaching Artist and Therapist (RPDTAT) will be a professional development day for puppeteers, educators and therapists. Presentations can include, but are exclusive to: hands on projects that have been implemented and evaluated; topics that meet specific areas of the National Common Core, State Standards, STEAM, STEM, multiple intelligence, learning styles, literacy, and other curricular topics; dealing with sensitive issues through puppetry arts; Evaluation methods; after-school programs; elementary, middle, and high school educational programs; community projects including senior and inter-generational programs; therapeutic practices that include puppetry; advanced training options; use of technology...

Presentations should be focused on one topic and timed to allow for lively discussion. Please plan to be present for the full day.

A certificate of completion will be given for presenters and participants to use for professional development points.

Coffee and light fare will be provided.

30 Minute presenters will receive free RPDTAT registration.

There will be an evening performance Thursday Sept 10. Presenters and participants are welcome to arrive Thursday after 3:00 PM, although festival lodging will be available beginning Wednesday night, Sept 9
