We invite you to join the Global Frugal Diagnostic Network!
The purpose of the Global Frugal Diagnostic Network is to support and stimulate innovation in diagnostic development in and for resource-limited settings. To deliver equitable health systems, we need interdisciplinary expertise in diagnostics, including from the social sciences. By linking multiple frugal diagnostic labs and key stakeholders together, a network can leverage synergies to enhance the quality, diversity, and reach of frugal solutions (microfluidics, paperfluidics, lateral flow assays), as well as foster collaboration and innovation across different regions and contexts. A network can reduce duplication of effort, streamline supply chains, and optimize logistics to make diagnostic development and innovation more local, sustainable, cost-effective, and timely.
