SPRING CLEAN UP DAY AT HOME RESOURCE: Join us on Friday, April 17 to tidy up garden beds at Home ReSource between 10 AM- 2 PM. We'll provide rakes, garden tools, gloves and snacks!

INTAKE ASSISTANT: This position helps Reuse Specialists receive and process incoming donations. You will help sort incoming donations into like carts. The sorted carts can then be stocked in the proper departments. Volunteers in this position pay close attention to detail, should be comfortable with bending, twisting etc., and lifting up to 25 pounds.

PICKUPS ASSISTANT: This position helps our Pickups Coordinator with pickups and deliveries. You will ride along in the box truck with a team member picking up donations from individuals in the community. Volunteers in this position should be comfortable with bending, twisting and lifting up to 50 pounds. The schedule for this position is one day a week with some flexibility.

DEPARTMENT EXPERT: This position focuses on an individual department. Volunteers in this position have specialized experience in a certain area i.e. Plumbing, Electrical, Lighting, Tools, Doors/Windows, etc. You will help organize the department and share your expertise on pricing, condition and functionality of donated items.

ROVERS: This position does whatever it is that needs to be done! They are an extra helping hand that are scheduled throughout the day as we always have things that come up. This could mean sorting donations, stocking shelves, customer loading assistance, sweeping etc. Rovers can generally lift up to 25 pounds and work on their feet for up to three hours. Volunteers in this position are fast learners, flexible and willing to work both independently and as part of a team.

YARD HELPER: This position likes to work outside and will help support our Yard Coordinator with the Yard Plan. Volunteers in this position will help with denailing lumber, magnet sweep for nails/screws, pulling weeds, organizing etc. Yard Helpers can generally lift up to 50 pounds and work on their feet for up to two hours.
