Digital storytelling is a powerful form of sharing personal experiences that enables individuals and communities to proclaim and reclaim their cultural identities and narratives through personal and meaningful items like photos or "home" movies**. We are especially interested in archiving an object and story from your time at Indiana University that will form part of the Asian Culture Center's Digital Community Archive. We welcome your stories, illustrated by an artifact, on what it means to be Asian, Pacific Islander, or Desi Asian American during your time at Indiana University.
You KEEP your original item. You may choose to contribute the digital version of the item to the Asian Culture Center's Digital Community Archive.
**"Home" movies are videos recorded on mobile devices like phones and tablets or videos recorded using camcorders that use VHS, DVD or miniDV formats.
Sign-up to participate in the community digital archive event as part of the Asian Culture Center's Digital Community Archive 25th Anniversary: October 28, 2023, 12 pm to 3 pm, ACC at 807 E. 10th Street.
