Political Education Night with AFT Maryland
Turn your anxiety about the election into action!

With the 2024 election behind us, a number of our members have fears about what may be on the horizon. With talk of historic budget deficits that threaten the jobs of educators and public employees, to fears about Federal Government Actions to gut public education and public services, some members may feel helpless to the fight the storm that may be gathering.

Rather than worry ourselves into paralysis, why not learn how we can turn those fears into something constructive? That's the theme behind the AFT Maryland's 2025 Political Education Night. 

On Thursday, January 16th, from 5:30-800 p.m., join members from other AFT unions at the AFT office: 21 Governors Court, Suite 120, Windsor Mill, MD 21244. We will talk about the 2025 Maryland Legislative Session, and how we can coordinate to protect our jobs, public education and services, and our communities.

Food will be provided!
