This registration form is for the Richland County CDBG Pre-Application Workshop being held on Friday, March 1, 2024 at the Richland County Administrative Building in room 4072. Attendance at this workshop is required for any entity or applicant (including County Departments) interested in applying for 2024 CDBG Funds through Richland County. Entities that received CDBG funding from the County in PY22 or PY23 are not required to attend, but are encouraged.
A make-up workshop will be held virtually on Tuesday, March 5th at 11:00 AM. A registration link is available online at http://richlandcountysc.gov/CDBG-NOFA.
These workshops are to assist applicants in developing their Application Request Proposals for CDBG funding.
Community Development staff will lead the session and provide:
- An overview of the CDBG grant process
- Details on grant programs, project eligibility, application criteria
- Information on monitoring requirements
- Tips to develop a competitive proposal
- Opportunity to ask questions
Community Development staff will lead the workshops and assist organizations new to CDBG grants in navigating the process. The goal is to equip applicants with knowledge to submit strong, compliant proposals.
