EAA Young Eagles Pre-registration. Brunswick-Mecklenburg Regional Airport. May 6th, 2017.

EAA Chapter 231 will be hosting an EAA Young Eagles event on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Brunswick-Mecklenburg Regional Airport. This is a program where children ages 8 to 17 can get a free introductory flight in a small airplane. Flights will start at 10:00 AM and will continue for several hours depending on weather and how many children attend. We are trying to estimate interest so please complete and submit the attached registration form. Flights are not guaranteed based on this sign-up and will be taken on a first come, first served basis on the day of the event. However, the event will be much more orderly if participants arrive approximately 30-60 min prior to their requested time. Weather and pilot availability will be a factor in determining whether the flights will occur.

PLEASE CHECK THE EAA 231 WEBSITE (address below) the NIGHT BEFORE and MORNING of the event for delay or cancellation information. Pre-registered participants will also be notified of any delays or cancellation VIA TEXT AND/OR EMAIL if contact information was provided.

Children must have a parent or legal guardian PRESENT to authorize the flight. Please take a moment and fill in the information below for your children that will attend. You can complete the form multiple times, once for each child in your family that will participate.

Advance registration will significantly reduce registration times on the day of the event.

You can email Barry Toole (barry.toole@hush.com) if you have questions about the event.
