S.H.E. is Me Mentoring Program has served Black girls and families since 2016 and is excited to offer a pilot program for young ladies in grades 3rd - 6th. It is our hope through this opportunity to expand our reach and build a stronger pipeline for membership into our signature program for high-achieving teen girls.
Our organization primarily serves girls from rural areas in an interpersonal, open and innovative environment. Through interactive sessions, experiential activities and trips, the core focus is for young ladies to learn how to dream, plan and execute plans efficiently and effectively while maximizing their skills and interests.
This is a paid program, the fee is $30 USD per month which covers your participants monthly box and access to program portal. The ONLY payment options are 1) Pay in full by Sunday, September 25, 2022 or 2) opt-in for automatic monthly payments.
The program is led by a dedicated team of diverse professionals with experience in the K-12 and higher education space, social work, social emotional learning and other related fields. They all have a true passion for education, leadership development and service. The team of volunteers work diligently to ensure that the content and activities are relevant to the overall development and success of each participant.
Previous group participants have participated in numerous workshops and skill-building activities, rendered over 1,000 hours of community service engagement and traveled both in and out of state visiting colleges, universities and historical national sites such as Washington D.C. and the Great Smokey Mountains.

To have your child considered for the program please click 'next' and complete the application as outlined. Our program has a100% VIRTUAL option therefore applicants can reside across the nation and participate. Preference will be given to young ladies in the following South Carolina counties: Dillon, Marion, Florence and Horry.
This year, we will have quarterly in-person meetups. Dates will be provided in advance for your scheduling purposes.
Following notice of acceptance, there will be a MANDATORY interview and virtual orientation for the parent and student. Bi-weekly meetings are hosted on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month for 10 months. Additional activities and offers are scheduled in advance and will be shared with you for optional participation.
