Community Consultation
We are seeking the views of residents on a proposal to create additional business and office space within the Appin area. The Appin Community Development Trust needs to understand the demand for such services and where these would be best located and therefore would very much appreciate your thoughts on this proposal.

The need to create and improve community facilities has been under discussion for some time, in particular the need for small office/meeting/studio spaces and craft/business workshops to rent. The provision for business space such as this supports the Government’s 20-minute neighbourhood agenda, which is to provide the full range of services needed to support a community to be sustainable and productive all within a 20-minute journey time. The business/office space we are consulting on would need to be within a 20-minute travelling distance of Duror and Barcaldine as well as Appin.
