BmMT 2026 Volunteer Sign-Ups
Thanks for your interest in volunteering for the Berkeley mini Math Tournament! BmMT 2026 will be held in-person on campus on Sunday, April 12thĀ from 7:45 AM to 6:00 PM.Ā 

The Berkeley mini Math Tournament is a math competition run by a team of Berkeley students with a mission to design, create, and host a holistic and quality math tournament that provides an engaging and challenging experience to participants in middle school or below.

Volunteers will help out by proctoring exams, transporting materials, and running activities. Volunteers will receive a BmMT T-shirt and free swag from us, as well as from our sponsors! AĀ light breakfast will be provided for morning volunteers, and lunch will be provided from 12 PM to 1 PM for all volunteers.

What shifts are you available to volunteer for? You are expected to show up for all shifts you sign up for. *
If you can stay for the whole day, that'd be super helpful for us!
We will be holding volunteer onboarding sessions on the week of April 6th for volunteers to meet the team, meet each other, and go over some light training! Which times would you be able to make? *
These sessions will be heldĀ in person and dinner will be provided. An email will be sent out prior to onboarding with room locations.Ā If you can't attend any, we'll reach out to you through email to make sure you're prepared!

Note for BMT members: Please attend the final Logistics/PW meetings prior to tournament day instead, since the applicable information will be covered in these meetings. If you would like to attend volunteer onboarding, you are welcome to come meet and help onboard the volunteers!

Prior to tournament day, you will be required to complete a one hour CANRA training (Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training), as mandated by state law. A link to the training will be emailed to you after April 3rd.Ā
