Boneyard Cycling Code of Conduct:
Boneyard Cycling is diverse; some are out to win, some are out to test themselves, some just want to have fun. Despite the coolness associated with team membership, maintaining humility is expected. Team members will register with the Oregon Bicycle Racing Association with their team name as “Boneyard Cycling.” All members are encouraged to participate in team socials and rides. Members are encouraged to race and or support teammates at local races. As a member of the Boneyard Cycling Team members agree to help with our two flagship events (Bend Bike Swap, and RHFT Cyclocross Race). Participation is not restricted to the date of the events, and can be done by helping with event planning and post-event support. Members will wear the current team kit (both jersey & shorts) when racing and encouraged to wear jerseys whenever possible in training and in recreation rides. Sponsor benefits are intended for the team members; sponsorship gifts and support shall not be used for resale or personal monetary gain. The team shall present good sportsmanship and a respectful attitude at cycling and non-cycling events when representing Boneyard Cycling or team sponsors. Team members agree to represent the team and sport of cycling in a positive manner by aspiring to obey all racing rules and traffic laws. Violations of these standards or acting like a jerk may result in membership revocation through a vote of the team Officers. Members attempt to participate in team activities when feasible, and support one another in races. Volunteering for community charitable activities or races is expected.

Liability Release Waiver
I recognize that bicycling is a sweet activity and involves certain risks. Bicycling and other team activities may involve risks and dangers causing serious bodily injury or property damage, including, but not limited to; permanent disability, paralysis, death, excessive money spent on pricey bike gear, embarrassment, and wearing strange clothing (“Risks”). These risks may be influenced by equipment failure, collisions with pedestrians, vehicles, other riders, fixed or moving objects, surface abnormalities, weather conditions, the actions or inactions of myself or someone else. I am fully aware of the risks to my finances, personal relationships and the potential of personal injury or death that may occur. Participation with Boneyard Cycling may also encourage behavior including volunteer labor and consuming beverages that affect my well-being. I will only engage in cycling and other activities when in sufficiently good health. I fully accept and assume all such risks and all responsibility for losses, costs, damages, and fitness improvements arising as a result of my participation in any Boneyard Cycling related activities. I will not be a sore loser. I hereby release, discharge and covenant not to sue and agree to indemnify and save and hold harmless the team, its officers, managers, members, and sponsors (Releasees). I further agree that if, despite this release and waiver of liability, assumption of risk, and indemnity agreement, I or anyone on my behalf makes a claim against any of the Releasees, I will indemnify, save and hold harmless each of the Releasees from any litigation expenses, liability, damage or costs associated with such claims. I recognize this is a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law. I understand this legal waiver deprives me of any chance of getting money for disasters and that I give up substantial rights by signing it. With full knowledge and understanding that disasters and flatulence may happen when engaged in activities as a team member of Boneyard Cycling, I accept and assume all risks and responsibility for losses, costs, and damages I incur as a result of my participation in the activity. I understand that failure to abide by these standards may result in dismissal from Boneyard Cycling. I agree to the Boneyard Cycling Code of Conduct and the Liability Release Waiver and to just abide.
