Devil's Advocates Application
The Mercer University School of Law is pleased to invite applications for the inaugural Devil's Advocates Trial Competition. The competition will be divided into four preliminary/regional virtual rounds to take place on July 13, 2024 through July 14, 2024 (Saturday & Sunday). The four top teams will advance to compete for the Championship at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia on August 3, 2024 (Saturday) in Macon, Georgia.

There is no registration or other fee associated with this competition. Applications are due on 6/1/24 at 5:00pm EST, but will be evaluated on a rolling basis

All AMTA eligible competitors, who have not already graduated from their undergraduate programs, are eligible to apply in teams of 4-5 members. Teams will compete under the banner of their AMTA school, so all team members must be from the same school.  Each trial round will consist of two attorneys and two witnesses.
