Gifts of Hope Toy Drive: Gift, Write, & Sponsor a Guerrero this Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

This September, for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we invite you to be part of Gifts of Hope Toy Drive— an initiative created to honor the strength, courage, and stories of children battling cancer. Led by Meraki Youth in partnership with Jóvenes Contra el Cáncer, a non-profit organization based in Ecuador.

This initiative is for college students seeking to sponsor one out of 15 patients (whom we call "Guerreros," which means warriors) with a thoughtful gift and a letter of encouragement. Sponsors will earn community service hours for participating.

The steps are simple:

1. Choose one Guerrero you want to sponsor.

2. Select your preferred gifting method.

3. Write Your Letter of Hope (All letters will be delivered with their gift). Monday, September 30th | 11:00 AM | Honors Lounge, MDC Padron Campus

This is a one-time donation with no further commitment required. Simply by participating in the Gifts of Hope initiative is more than enough to make a meaningful impact.

Feel free to reach out to us for any questions:
