TexStyle 2018 Student and Teacher Seminars
STUDENT SEMINARS

Thursday 8th & Friday 9th March 2018

Student seminars will focus on the development and production of the Major Textiles Project, with a focus on proficiency, creativity and innovation in relation to the Stage 6 Textiles and Design Syllabus and Marking Guidelines. At the conclusion of the seminar, students will have the opportunity to view and analyse the exhibition showcasing the 2017 Textiles and Design HSC MTP Works of Excellence.

Cost $15 per student *
Sessions will commence at 10:00am, 11:30am and 12:45pm (duration 45minutes)

TEACHER SEMINAR

Saturday 10th March 2018

The Teacher Seminar is to be run in conjunction with the 2018 TEXSTYLE Exhibition at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse that is on display as a part of the Stitches and Craft Show.

The Teacher Seminar will be presented by an experienced HSC Textiles & Design teacher and will focus on classroom management of the Major Textiles Project (MTP). The seminar will impart detailed information and provide relevant experience to give participants a deep understanding of what is required for the Stage 6 Textiles and Design MTP.

Participants will be given comprehensive information about management and teaching strategies for the MTP that can be utilised in the classroom. At the conclusion of the seminar, participants will have the opportunity to view and analyse the exhibition showcasing the 2017 Textiles and Design HSC MTP Works of Excellence.

Cost $35 per participant *
Seminar will commence at 10:00am, concluding at 1:00pm
