Rüdiger BOHN is a world-renowned conductor and professor of conducting at the Robert Schumann University in Düsseldorf. Since 2003 he has also held the role of Musical Director of the EWCM- European Workshop for Contemporary Music, with whom he performs annually at the Warsaw Autumn Festival, and notably, in 2017 was honoured for his services to the city of Warsaw. Maestro Bohn studied piano and conducting at the music academies in Cologne and Düsseldorf. As a pianist he has won several international chamber music competitions. He appeared regularly as a concert soloist before devoting himself exclusively to conducting.
