More about the event: JJ's List Disability Awareness Players (a social enterprise of Search Inc) will provide a virtual training on person-first language, and provide information on how to properly interact with a person with a disability. Our Disability Awareness Players are experts in disability, because they have disabilities. You will build confidence and experience in how to communicate comfortably and appropriately with customers, co-workers or potential hires who have disabilities. This will be a virtual workshop with videos, skits and time for Q&A.
