• Our campers not only learn new skills like archery or kayaking, they also learn skills for becoming peace leaders and for solving the kinds of problems that keep people in the Boston area and around the world from understanding one another. And we learn all this while having fun and being active in the outdoors.
• At the end of the camp program, our participants are invited to join the Kids4Peace Boston Peace Leader program, for 7th -12th graders, that meets monthly during the school year and has additional skill-building summer programs. In fact, at camp you’ll be spending time with 11th and 12th grade Counselors-in-Training who have been active in Kids4Peace Boston since they were in 6th grade, along with the rest of our well-trained staff.
• Kids4Peace not only exists in Boston, but also in other locations in the United States and in Jerusalem. In future summers, Kids4Peace Boston high school youth have the chance to participate in additional peace-building programs with Israeli and Palestinian peers as well as youth from other American cities.

These sessions provide an opportunity for us to get to know your child better as well as for you to have your questions answered about the program. If you would like to attend one of the group sessions before completing the application, that is fine! Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for location information. See more information about these sessions in section 11 below.
In the spring, we have one pre-camp meeting on Sunday, April 29th so you and your child can meet the other participants and their families, learn about this summer’s camp, and Kids4Peace Boston programs. In addition, all campers and their families are invited to attend the annual Kids4Peace Boston family dinner on the evening of May 6th.
A limited number of scholarships are available. Families will be asked to provide financial and other information to apply for a scholarship or reduced tuition. We ask all families to make a personally-significant contribution toward that amount and participate in a Kids4Peace Boston fundraising initiative to help off-set the balance. A deposit is due on acceptance and the balance is due by June 1, 2018.
