Skyline high will be offering credit recovery summer school this year. This means that students that failed any quarter during the school year of any class that is offered can come to Skyline this summer and earn that credit. This will go on your transcript as a P and it does not remove the F that was already on a students transcript.
Each class will last up to two weeks and a student will receive credit when they have demonstrated that they are proficient in the standards for that quarter.

Summer school is going to be a once in a lifetime opportunity to do experiential learning. We are going to be working on the essential standards for each subject, in addition we each class will be leaving Skyline for an experience unique to that course. Some examples of what our teachers are working on are

English will be watching a movie at the Megaplex theatres
P.E. will be going to Top Golf
The language and culture classes will be cooking food from the culture that they are learning about.
The art classes will be going to a museum.
Each class will have it's own activity.

In addition we will have donuts, drinks and other treats for the students on random days as well as a raffle once a week where any student in class can win prizes.
