An Exploratory Study on the Impact of Digital Technology on the Lives of People with Spinal Cord Injuries

-Brief Description:
this study aims to understand the daily interaction of the people with spinal cord injury with digital technologies, its nature, frequency, purpose, and capturing any encountered accessibility barriers in-home, outside, and on the go.

-It is conducted by a researcher in the University of Bristol: ( Miss Alaa Alali ) as a part of her academic work to earn a PhD degree. ( email:  a.alali@bristol.ac.uk ).

The study includes the following 3 activities:
First Activity:
Online interview including the participant and the researcher only.
It will take approximately 60 minutes using any online platform (based on the participant's preference).
**The participant will receive a $20 Amazon e-gift card as a thank you for taking part in the first activity**

Second Activity:
Recording (could be text or voice) diaries for 1 week. Then, at the end, participant will be submitting a total of 7 diary entries to the researcher (via email, or WhatsApp, etc.).
(Note: diaries will only be related to events that include the participant's usage of a digital device)
**The participant will receive a $70 Amazon e-gift card as a thank you for taking part in the second activity**

Last Activity:
Online follow-up interview that will take approximately 30 minutes.
**The participant will receive a $10 Amazon e-gift card as a thank you for taking part in the last activity**

Who's eligible to participate in this study ?
The Research participant must meet (ALL) of the following requirements:

• The participant must be an adult.
• The participant has been diagnosed with a spinal cord injury.
• The participant has access to one or more digital device(s).
(Examples of digital devices: smart phones, or smart watches, or tablets, or laptops, or smart home devices or any other digital devices)
