Our Internship program is a great opportunity for university students and young professionals from around the world to learn and gain insights through on-site engagement and experiential learning in rural settings in India.
The objective of this volunteer-internship program in India is to provide students with practical opportunities to learn and experience the constituents of their subject topic of interest in a nonprofit NGO, in development sector in India.
Though incentives like accommodation, mobile sim, internet connected workplace, mentor-ship and technical resource support etc are provided FREE to the volunteer-interns by the organisation,. the program is otherwise completely voluntary, unpaid assignment. As a self-financed program, you may organise the funding from your college/university, an external scholarship or your own-self for air-tickets, visa fee, and personal expenses. Food is not expensive in India and can cost couple of dollars a day.
The organisation charges one off fee through an outsource from the potentially selected volunteer-interns at the time of signing the contract. The fee remains the same irrespective of internship duration ranging from 3 months to 12 months. It caters to various services such as recruitment related expenses, visa consultations, documentation and advise, civil liability, and legal support services, training and development, certification and validation.
Eligibility criteria• Age 20 to 35 years of age• Should be in university education / recent graduate / young professional• Should be able to put in a minimum of 3-6 months• Should give full time intensive commitment of 35 to 40 hours a week.• Should be aligned with the values and principles of the program / organisation
