“Higher Education Innovation Growth and Training” HEIght
HEIght is supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Higher Education Institutions (HEI): Innovation Capacity Building for Higher Education Program and in partnership with EIT Climate-KIC.

This training program is carried out as part of a wider European project, ‘Higher Education Innovation Growth and Training (HEIght)’, which includes Özyeğin University along with partner universities from the UK, Malta, Cyprus.

The goal of the project is to boost the entrepreneurial and innovation capacity of universities and its stakeholders such as students, faculty, staff and alumni.

With this project Özyeğin University aims at creating more opportunities for International Students to be more involved in Entrepreneurship Ecosystem!

More than 100 ÖzÜ International Students coming from more than 20 different nationalities already completed  this program with success and joined our network of like-minded international entrepreneurs. 

The program focuses on working with ÖzÜ International Students to:
* Develop entrepreneurship skills
* Learn how to test business ideas and start a business
* Learn how to be more involved in Turkish and international entrepreneurship ecosystem

The program is open for all ÖzÜ International Students. All you need is to have interest in learning more about entrepreneurship and how to start your own business whether it is an lifestyle business or a high-tech startup.

Those who complete the program will receive a Certificate of Achievement. Eligible participants and projects will also be considered for financial support provided by the Center for Entrepreneurship to start their projects.

The program offers a rich experience including workshops, seminars and mentorship sessions. Participants with high potential project will have a chance to get know investors from the ecosystem.

The program consists of 2 full day face to face sessions delivered over a weekends. The sessions will start at 10:00 and finish around 17:30.

The sessions will be held on 6  - 7 May 2023 (Saturday and Sunday). The program sessions will be held on Özyeğin University Çekmeköy Campus.

Participants will be provided lunch, snacks and drinks during the training sessions. To / from campus transportation will be provided from certain locations free of charge only available to confirmed program participants. 

Attending all the sessions is required to complete the program and benefit from the program offerings.

This is an extra-curricular entrepreneurship program (non-credit / voluntary).

The program is FREE for all ÖzÜ International students.
