(Alternative) Alternative Winter Break 2020
Young Judaea is partnering with Repair the World to bring together teens from North America in our first ever (Alternative) Alternative Winter Break.
(Alternative) Alternative Winter Break will engage teens over four days of winter break. Participants will engage in Jewish and service learning, volunteer work and community building. The sessions will be facilitated by Repair the World’s educational team, and Young Judaea’s experienced team of madrichim (counselors). The days will be divided into virtual learning and community building as well as virtual and some in-person volunteering.
In congruence with our National Social Action Initiative of food insecurity, our program will focus on food justice through a Jewish lens and its intersection with racial injustice.
