Categories are video, audio and multimedia. It is free to submit an entry.

Entrants must be high school or undergraduate students between the ages of 14 and 23 as of Jan. 31, 2017.Entrants may enter once per category.No group projects will be considered. Only pieces authored by a single person may be submitted.Entrants may only submit pieces to which they own the copyright. All work must be original (usage rights must have been obtained for any stock graphics or background music).Entries must have been created and published during the 2016 calendar year (between Jan. 1, 2016, and Dec. 31, 2016).Entries to each category must be journalistic pieces and may not include any dramatization.All pieces must be published online and be viewable by the public. Password-protected entries are not eligible.
Audio and Video Guidelines:Entries must have been published on the Web and must contain original reporting. Entries must be journalistic pieces and may not include any dramatization. Entries should not be longer than 10 minutes.
Multimedia Guidelines:Entries must have been published on the Web and contain at least three of the following: writing, photos, audio, video, graphics or other visual tools. Entries must be journalistic pieces and may not include any dramatization.
