We stand for survivors. We assert that the transformation of oppressive systems, narratives, and cultures, grounded in the lived experiences and leadership of survivors, creates space for generative ideas, practices, and relationships rooted in love, respect, empathy, agency, vulnerability, and wellness.
We center Black girls and women. We believe in addressing systems that allow for the proliferation of sexual violence, specifically in Black, queer, trans, disabled, and all communities of color.
Community organizing and centering under-resourced communities. We imagine communities that are abundant with joy, safety, and resources and committed to radical healing, and we are committed to the work to live toward this vision.
Intergenerational wisdom, collective responsibility and collective action. By motivating people and society to change behaviors and center survivors, we can shift consciousness around sexual violence and ultimately develop the tools we need to stop it where it persists.
Liberation and resistance, individual and community healing. We fight against systemic injustices related to sexual violence, pushing toward a culture shift that promotes healing, action, consent and bodily autonomy.
