SC Food Policy Council Board Member Application
The purpose of the SC Food Policy Council (SCFPC) is to advance the consumption and production of healthy foods in South Carolina through education and strategic policy planning. The Board of Directors is currently comprised of individuals from across South Carolina working in the broader food system. Board Members serve 3 year terms with up to 2 consecutive with up to 12 total members on the board. Candidates are not selected based on organizations but rather by the individual applying. Board members commit to participating in quarterly in-person meetings, periodic conference calls, and occasional work assignments. Answers should be in-depth enough to provide individuals that do not know you with an understanding of your motivations and interests in joining the SCFPC.
