5. Abstract
Life in Silicon valley is full of opportunities and
excitement. I considered myself as a hardware (process) engineer by training.
But....I have learned a lot more than tuning the process during my past 7+
years of work experience in Northern California. In this talk, my experience of
preparing myself for high-tech jobs in the US will be shared. I will also tell
how to adjust myself in the ever-changing and fast-paced community and my
personal observations throughout the years in Silicon valley. I am still in the
journey, but I will briefly include my takeaways for career growth in a tech
company.
