NOUS Technology Feature Request & Potential Use — Virtual Lab chatbot/voicebot

The Virtual Lab chatbot/voicebot lets people find things in a collaboration platform by asking, rather than searching. Using natural language processing, it answers questions put in text or speech and connects them to the relevant datasets, posts and discussions held in a Living or Virtual Lab, taking into account the language and cultural context of the person asking. It is aimed at citizens, professionals and public officials who need to locate information quickly in a large, community-generated knowledge base. It is one of the key exploitable results of NOUS, a Horizon Europe project building a European cloud service spanning edge, high-performance and quantum computing (Grant Agreement No. 101135927).

This inquiry is a non-binding request for technology feature access, information, or potential use exploration regarding NOUS research outputs. It does not constitute a commercial contract or legal commitment for either party.

What we collect. Your organisation name, your name and your email address. We do not collect any other personal data through this form.

Why we collect it. To respond to your request regarding NOUS project results and to discuss possible testing, integration or adoption with you; and to record the number and type of technology requests received, as part of the reporting obligations of the NOUS project (Horizon Europe, Grant Agreement No. 101135927).

Legal basis. Your consent, given by ticking the box below. You may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Who has access. Your details are accessible only to authorised AETHON personnel involved in NOUS exploitation activities. Responses are stored in AETHON's Google Workspace environment; Google acts as a data processor on AETHON's behalf. We share only aggregate, anonymous counts of requests with the NOUS consortium for project reporting. We do not transfer your personal data to other project partners or to any third party, and we do not use it for marketing.

How long we keep it. We keep your data until 31/12/2031. After that, your data is deleted. 

Your rights. You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Kifissias 1-3, 11523 Athens, www.dpa.gr).
