Thanks for your interest in being part of Open Streets Boise (featuring Boise Goathead Fest)!

Hosted by Boise Bicycle Project, Open Streets Boise takes over neighborhood streets and transforms them into car-free community spaces where folks can bike, walk and roll together. Open Streets Boise will highlight local food and businesses, bikes and local art, along with family-friendly entertainment and live music, creating a welcoming atmosphere to come together and reimagine our streets as a place for people, not just cars.

This year, the event will be held on Sunday, September 22nd from 12 - 5 PM on the Depot Bench along Cassia and Latah Streets between Cassia Park and Morris Hill Cemetery.

We are inviting our local Boise community to partake in the event in a way that is vibrant and meaningful to you, and reflective of a car-free Boise!

For restaurants, this could look like opening your doors to event-goers. For nonprofits, this could look like having a pop-up activity station (note: we want the community to be actively involved, so more than tabling is best). For child-focused organizations, this could look like organizing a game or activity in the street.
