Donation Drive for the Naperville Humane Society
When: December 7th, 3:15
Where: Room 66 (flat-wing, near door 21)

This event is sponsored by the NCHS FFA chapter, but anyone in the school is welcome to attend :) All donations/creations will be donated to the Naperville Humane Society, and if you cannot attend the meeting after school, you can donate materials to count towards service hours as well.

Materials/items we are looking for:
1. Fleece
2. Old shirts
3. Pillows
4. Used blankets
5. Dog/cat food (wet & dry)
6. Plastic dog crates
7. Baby gates
8. Baby toys (including stuffed animals)
9. Towels
10. Lightly used dog/cat toys
11. Old fabric

PLEASE LABEL WHAT YOU DONATE WITH YOUR NAME AND GRADE NUMBER SO WE CAN CROSS-REFERENCE WITH THIS GOOGLE FORM. ALSO TAKE PICTURES OF WHAT YOU DONATED FOR YOUR SERVICE FORM. DONATIONS SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO ROOM 66.

1 SMALL bag of donations = 30 minutes
1 BIG bag of donations = 1 hour

The event will be 3:15-4:30, but if you bring donations alongside attending the event, you can earn extra hours. Donated supplies is capped at 3 HOURS, and the whole event will be capped at 5 HOURS.

*If you cannot make the event but want to create a tie blanket by yourself to donate, you can do that as well*

What is the event?

The FFA chapter will host an after-school event where students can make blankets, toys, beds, etc, for the animals at the Naperville Humane Society for the holiday season. This is not specifically an FFA event, and attendance will count towards service hours within National Honor Society, Rotary Club, etc. As mentioned above, donations can also count towards hours. The FFA officer team will give a presentation teaching those in attendance how to create certain items, so no prior knowledge or skill is needed. If you are able to come or donate supplies, your help is greatly needed and appreciated. We would love to give these animals some gifts for the holidays! We will have snacks and drinks :)
