Wilfrid Laurier University is home to a diverse community of students, staff, and alumni from all over the world. Introducing bidet showers to campus washrooms is a simple step that supports that diversity while also promoting sustainability, better hygiene, and a more welcoming environment for everyone.
Across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, bidet showers are a normal part of daily hygiene. But here in North America - including at Laurier - they’re still uncommon.
This movement takes inspiration from successful student-led initiatives like Bidets at UofT who have already begun securing installations on their campuses. Now it’s time for Laurier to lead the way too.
Installing bidets means:
🧼 Better hygiene
🌎 More inclusivity
🌱 Less toilet paper waste
