On Saturday November 4th, residents across the North and Northwest will come together to make our voices heard! We are calling for an end to destabilizing gentrification that results in more displacement, homelessness, violence and crime. We know that safe communities are communities with resources and public investment - that use those resources to take of our neighbors who are struggling. Together, we are standing up to demand a vision for SAFE COMMUNITIES built on a foundation of:

Good family sustaining union jobs
Deeply affordable housing
Fully resourced schools, libraries and recreation centers
Community centered development
Environmental sustainability, including access to gardens and green space
Thriving local business corridors
Expanded access to healthcare, including mental health services
Violence prevention rooted in community engagement

11am - Meet-up at Vernon Park, get some inspiration, collect your turf and hit the doors with a friend.

2pm - Return to Vernon Park to hear from our candidates and other movement and community leaders about how we fight for safer communities that don't leave any of us behind.
