Student Leaders take on the central leadership responsibilities for their YP Club. However, they are not alone. They receive special training and are mentored and supported by the Young Peacebuilders’ team and Adult Supporters.

A mentor supports children or youth in forming and strengthening a YP Club. S/he provides supervision and moral and logistical support of regular club activities. YPC mentors do not lead the club but rather support students as they develop their leadership skills and embrace their roles as young change-agents, reconcilers, and peacebuilders. YPC Mentors should be 13 years or older.
