We are excited to offer our 4th summer of the Bard Math Circle Creative and Analytical Math Program (C.A.M.P.), a one-week non-residential academic math program for students currently in grades 5–8. The program runs August 28–September 1, 2016 on the Bard College campus in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY. Classes are led by experienced and inspiring instructors, assisted by Bard College math majors.
This application form consists of 3 sections: 1. Student Information (17 items) 2. Parent/Guardian Information (11 items) 3. Math Teacher Information (3 items)
Once you submit your application, we will contact your math teacher with a brief questionnaire as a mathematical reference. Applications received by April 30 will receive full consideration. After that, we'll fill any remaining spots on a rolling basis.
For invited students, the full cost of the 2017 C.A.M.P. is $250, and this includes lunch each day (need-based financial aid is available, and may be requested once invited). In addition, we require parents/guardians to sign a liability and photo release, and to provide an immunization sheet (or exemption letter). A photo is required of each student; we plan to take photos on the first day of the program (you may send us a photo if you prefer).
