The Cat in the Hat narrates the musical story of Horton the Elephant, who discouvers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him.

AUDITIONS: Tuesday/Thursday (T/TH) cast: Tuesday, September 3
Monday/Wednesday (M/W) cast: Wednesday, September 4
Callbacks for both casts, September 5
Dismissal - 5:30 p.m.

REHEARSALS: M/W cast: Mondays and Wednesdays, September 9-October 23rd
T/TH cast: Tuesdays and Thursdays, September 10-October 22nd.

REHEARSAL DISMISSAL TIME: Regular school day: 5:30 p.m.
Early Release day: 3:30 p.m.

FEE: $425.00 Check payable to: Town of Harvard

COSTUME RENTAL FEE: Of $85.00 will be collected by Superstar Productions at the Parent Meeting, September 10

TECH WEEK REHEARSALS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL CAST MEMBERS. IF YOUR CHILD HAS A CONFLICT WITH THESE REHEARSALS, PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER HER/HIM FOR THIS PROGRAM.
