We will be offering grief support groups for youth who have lost an important person (for example: parent, sibling, grandparent, friend, or other close relative or individual). These groups will be conducted by facilitators working with The Kentucky Center for Grieving Children and Families (KCGCF). The eleven (11) meeting group curriculum is designed to offer students a safe place to share their feelings in a confidential environment with peers who have also faced a death loss. There is NO COST to participate in the group. Groups are conducted by trained facilitators (who have passed FCPS background checks), and a member of the school student support staff will also be present.
