ITF Student and Community Ensemble Performance Application
Ball State University, July 10-13, 2019

The International Trombone Festival invites student ensembles at the university and secondary level and community groups to submit proposals to perform at the 2019 ITF at Ball State University. Accepted ensembles will be scheduled for a 20 minute time slot as an opening performance for a Festival artist, or a 30 minute showcase performance in an alternative festival venue. Trombone choirs, mixed brass, or other ensembles featuring trombonists, are invited to apply.

Please note the following policies:
• Student and community ensembles and their directors receive a 10% discount on individual festival fees; however, no financial support for housing, meals, travel, or other ITF-related expenses is provided.

•All members of the performing ensembles must be active members of the International Trombone Association.

• Ensemble Directors must attend the Festival on a Director’s badge (10% discount, as listed above). Directors desiring to attend using an Exhibitor’s badge must request approval from the Festival Director.

• We encourage student performers to attend and take advantage of the full Festival schedule. At minimum, student performers are required to register for the day of their designated performance.

• The ITF will provide performing ensembles with chairs, stands, sound reinforcement, audio engineering services, and standard instruments, such as concert percussion and/or a drum set. Additional performance requests, such as video, specific lighting needs, staging (outside of a typical concert setting), or other issues will be accommodated where possible, at the discretion of the Festival Manager. For specific questions, please contact Justin Cook at jcook@uca.edu.
