Volunteer Sign-up: Jane's Walk Ottawa-Gatineau 
Jane’s Walk is a festival of free neighbourhood walking tours given by locals who care passionately about where they live, work and play. It's a pedestrian-focused event that improves urban literacy by offering insights into local history, planning, design, and civic engagement through the simple act of walking and observing.

Jane's Walk-La Promenade de Jane Ottawa-Gatineau  will take place Saturday, May 3 and Sunday, May 4, 2025. The schedule is available at janeswalkottawa.ca and will be populated as walks are registered.

We're looking for volunteer marshals to help manage walking groups.

Role: Hold up flags to identify the walk location, briefly introduce tour leaders using a script, help keep the group together, take a head count of attendees at your walk, take photos and generally assist tour leaders. We will provide you with a package with all the information you'll need to be a marshal.
