We are pleased to announce a call for proposals for the 2026 UDTSEA conference on April 27th, in Cedar City, Utah. The theme this year is "Learning Elevated." Learning Elevated is intended to bring a focus on high-quality learning experiences that are designed to be more effective and impactful.
Some example topics include but are not limited to:
- Personalized learning
- Virtual and augmented reality in the classroom
- Equity, ethics, and inclusion in education and/or curriculum design
- Creativity, critical thinking, and 21st century skills
- Assessment, feedback, and evaluation techniques
- Online, blended, and active learning strategies
- Open educational resources and practice
- Competency based evaluation and grading
- Fostering student agency and ownership
- Why "progress" in reducing fatalities is not enough—safety is pass/fail
- Challenge attendees to rethink their approach to traffic safety.
To submit your proposal, please contact Audra Urie by February 6, 2026. You will need to include the following information.
- Working Presentation title
- Format: 60-minute interactive session, or roundtable discussion
- Description of presentation (100-250 words max)
- List of co-presenters and their affiliations
