The University of Dayton Human Rights Center and the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, well-organized individual to support its work to advance human rights in business. Depending on the skills and knowledge of the intern, the role could support the work in Eastern Europe and Central Asia; Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean; and/or measuring impact.
Working with the Resource Centre’s Global Team, you will make an important contribution to furthering our vision of a world in which companies respect and advance human rights, and communities and workers are empowered to secure their rights and gain accountability for abuse. You will do so by helping us expand our organization’s coverage of business and human rights issues.
This internship provides a practical experience focused on bringing global attention to company conduct affecting people and communities, with the aim of promoting respect for human rights.
Timeframe: November 2021 - May 2022 for at least 10 hours/week
Through the UD Human Rights Center students may earn credit for this internship (depending on major/minor) or receive remuneration.
